Jack R. Kruthaupt

Jack R. Kruthaupt, age 71, of Metamora, Indiana, Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana following a lengthy illness.

Born December 20, 1954 in Batesville, Indiana, he was the son of the late Ambrose J. & Opal (Banks) Kruthaupt. On August 17, 1974 he and the former Arleene Ball were united in marriage, and she survives.

He worked for much of his life in a factory, and had also farmed in Franklin County. In his leisure time he enjoyed the outdoors, taking care of his farm, and attending auctions.

Besides Arleene, his loving wife of over 51 years, survivors include two daughters, Kristi Roach of Everton, Indiana and Kelly Willoughby of Metamora, Indiana; two grandchildren, Megan Roach & Xander Ison; and a brother, Dennis Kruthaupt of Metamora, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister, Detta Kruthaupt.

Family & friends may visit from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
