Jack Michael Maines

Jack Michael Maines, 80, of Worth, Illinois passed away peacefully December 30th surrounded by his family. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and sentimentality. He valued loyalty and tradition, loved his family and was devoted to his faith. His favorite pastimes included sitting outside on a hot day listening to a Cubs game, tinkering in the garage, doing routine car maintenance, stocking the pantry, scratching lottery tickets, tracking the ponies for race day at the OTB and just sitting in the sun listening to oldies on the radio.
He is survived by his first wife, Joan, and their four children: Jim (Tracy), Michael, Jack (Coleen), Kelly Czajkoski (Bobby) and his partner of thirty years, Sandy Rafacz, and her daughters, Tina Goethe (Matt) and Amy Roberts (Darren). He was also a loving grandfather to eleven, great-grandfather to seven and great-great grandfather of three.
Jack contributed to many charities. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in Jack's name to the American Heart Association or a charity close to your heart.
