Jack Mankin Sr. passed away March 19, 2025 at Ashford Memory in Grove City. He passed with his family by his side. Reuniting with his beloved wife Sharon, who preceded him in death.
Jack proudly served in the Navy. During his time in service his wife patiently waited for his return. Upon his discharge they married and began a lifelong journey together.
Their love endured 56 years.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Mankin, his mom, Irris (Payne) Mankin Kendall, Virgil Mankin Jr, Gale Mankin, and Norma Annon and sister, Patsy Raines.
Children are Jack (Cyndi) Mankin Jr and Brenda (Vic Lemaster) Mankin. Grandkids; Racheal (Matt Hunt) Mankin, Chris Mankin, Amy Mankin, Samantha (Wijdan) Abdali. Great-grandkids; Mason Hunt, Ava Hunt, Adam Abdali. Siblings; Betty (Richard) Wunder, Robert Mankin, Paul (Sandy) Kendall, Carolyn Hatfield, Ruth Ann Kendall, and Dianne Hewitt.
Jack enjoyed fishing , collecting coins, and being with his family. He was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather. Jack retired from Eastland Career Center.
