JACK C. MCDANIEL Jack C. McDaniel, 78, of Augusta, KS, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. with service following at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at First Southern Baptist Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, KS. Jack was born in Amarillo, TX on July 31, 1946, to Doris (Thurman) and Elmer C. McDaniel. He graduated from Augusta High School with the class of 1964. He served in the U.S. Army. Jack retired as a Telecommunications Engineer having worked at both Boeing and IBM. On May 11, 1968, he married Susan (Peters) McDaniel in Lake City, MN who survives him. He is also survived by: his son, Chad McDaniel, and wife Shannon of Augusta, KS; grandchildren, Kylie and Kaden McDaniel. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelli Ann McDaniel; parents, Doris and Elmer McDaniel; stepmother, Charlene Henman; sister, Deon Markley; infant brother, Danny McDaniel.
