Jack Patrick Newton, Jr., of Ovid, Michigan, passed away suddenly on January 26, 2023 at the age of 14. He was born to loving parents, Jack Newton, Sr. and Amy (Ayers) on October 24, 2008 in Lansing, Michigan. Jack lived a full and adventurous life in his short 14 years on Earth. He was exceptionally kind and loving to everyone he came across. He was always sure that others needs were met before his own and he made many friends along the way. Jack was very protective of his brothers, they meant the world to him. He liked to shoot guns, camp, whittle wood, and ride his bike. More recently, Jack enjoyed wrestling and playing video games in his spare time. Jack was currently an 8th grader at Ovid-Elsie Public Schools and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Jack in death is his grandmother, Carolyn Ayers. Left on Earth to cherish his memory are his father, Jack Newton, Sr.; mother, Amy (Ayers) Parks; brothers, Tristine Parks, Austin Newton, and Isiah Newton; grandparents, Rodney and Clarissa Newton and Robert and Janie Ayers; many special aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friend, Kylee Travis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
