Jack Noell, 68, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away on August 31, 2025. Born on August 2, 1957, in Roanoke, Virginia, Jack lived a life full of laughter, adventure, and deep devotion to his family and passions. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Susan; daughter Amanda George; stepson Tanner Sizemore and his wife Alicia; granddaughters Hadley and Henley Sizemore; brother Mike Noell and his wife Pam; sister-in-law Judy Lynch; brother-in-law Steve Herkal and his wife Pat; his beloved dog Elmo; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his brother Tim Noell; brother-in-law Chuck Herkal; mother Lavon Reed Noell; and father Douglas Noell. From a young age, Jack was captivated by the skies. He began flying radio-controlled model airplanes with his father as a boy-an early passion that would shape much of his life. That love for flight never waned. Jack eventually owned an ultralight airplane and continued flying models of all sizes throughout his life. He was an active member of the Ocala Flying Model Club and the Southern Eagle Squadron. His enthusiasm extended beyond flying-he was a generous supporter of these clubs and participated in numerous fundraisers to help them thrive. Professionally, Jack dedicated 23 years to the Wildwood Pipe Plant before turning his passion into a business. In 1986, he opened Noell's Hobbies of Wildwood-a beloved local shop that served fellow enthusiasts until its closing in 2017. Through this venture, Jack not only shared his expertise but also built lasting friendships within the community. Jack had an infectious sense of humor and a playful spirit that endeared him to everyone he met. A self-proclaimed prankster with a heart full of joy, he loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He was truly a big kid at heart-surrounded by toys both large and small-and found immense joy in sharing them with others. Among the many roles Jack cherished in life, none were more important than being "Pops" to his granddaughters Hadley and Henley. His fierce love for them was evident in every moment they spent together. He was immensely proud of them-and they adored him just as deeply. Each June brought one of Jack's favorite traditions: two weeks at Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge with the Palatka Fish Mafia-a close-knit group of friends who became like family over the years. These annual trips were filled with non-stop fishing action and camaraderie. True to form, Jack brought along "Bob," a full-size mannequin he mischievously placed around the fish camp to surprise unsuspecting guests-a perfect example of his lighthearted nature. Jack's legacy is one of laughter, loyalty, adventure, and love - a life lived fully with open arms and an open heart. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire smiles for years to come. Was shocked to hear of Jack's passing. Too young. Taught me quite a few things over the years. Will greatly miss him. Fly High, Fly Free, Brother.

I am saddened to hear about jacks passing. My deepest condolences to the family.
My dad John Miskura had also passed last month. I am sure him and Jack are in a wide open filled flying their models together.
