Jack E. Osenkowski, 30, of Coventry, RI, lost his battle with addiction on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Jack was the son of Mark and Gina (Hames) Osenkowski, grandson to Arline (Applebey) Osenkowski, Robert J. Osenkowski, and to the late Francis M. and Mary (Martinoli) Hames.
He is survived by his sister, Jill Osenkowski, sister-in-law, Melissa DeSandre, and the love of his life, Brianna Ferretti, with whom he shared his true pride and joy, their son Truen Osenkowski.
Growing up, Jack attended St. Joseph's School in West Warwick, where he was known for making his friends and teachers laugh. His family loved to watch him show off his speed on the track as a St. Joe's Eagle and on the football field as a West Warwick Steeler. He went on to Tollgate High School where he completed a vocational program and obtained his diploma.
During his time off, Jack could be found riding his motorcycle with Brianna safely tucked behind him, spending evenings laughing with his cousin Katie and family around a fire, and challenging his lifelong friends to online gaming.
Jack spent his recent years working hard to proudly follow in his father's footsteps as a lineman at National Grid. However his purest form of happiness came from being a dad himself. Truen was born 3 months premature and fought hard to survive to become the smart, thoughtful and caring boy that he is today. Jack was so proud of Truen and always knew that his son would be his greatest legacy.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 445 Washington Street, Coventry. The Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, West Warwick.
