Jack William Pape

Jack William Pape, 87, of Alexandria, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September

25, 2025.

Jack was a devoted member of Plum Creek Christian Church, and his life of faith and service will

continue to inspire those who knew him.

He was deeply committed to his faith, family, and community. Jack served on the Campbell

County School Board, acted as Interim Director and sat on the Board of Directors of the

Cincinnati Children's Museum, and gave many years of service as an Elder at the Alexandria

Church of Christ.

Jack dedicated 38 years of his career to Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company, where he retired as

an executive. He also served his country with honor in the United States Air Force Reserves.

A lifelong learner, Jack earned an associate's and bachelor's degree in business from the

University of Cincinnati and later achieved his Master of Business Administration from Xavier

University.

Jack loved traveling, reading, and cheering on NASCAR, but his greatest joy came from time

spent with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his legacy of faith, unending curiosity,

love of learning and unwavering devotion to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Fred Pape and Bertha Rose Vater, and his

brother, Marvin Pape. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah (Sally) Pape; daughters Wendy

Peek (Bryan), Renee Carnes (Jeff), and Sheila Anderson (Thomas); eight grandchildren; and 14

great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, from 4-7p.m., at Plum Creek Christian Church

(961 Nagel Rd., Butler, KY 41006). Funeral services will follow on Tuesday, September 30, at 10

a.m., also at the church. Jack will be laid to rest at Alexandria Cemetery. Alexandria Funeral
