Jack Richard Pasco

PASCO, Jack Richard - Age 89, of Fenton, died Friday, October 10, 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Visitation will begin at 11:00am followed by funeral services at 12:00pm Friday, November 14, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1025 Main Street, Fenton, Michigan. Pastor Peter Alhlesmeyer officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Those desiring may make contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fenton or Rosemary Farm Sanctuary, South Kortright, NY.
Jack was born June 8, 1936 in Byron, Michigan, the son of Jesse and Violet (Cole) Pasco. He attended Fenton High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1955-1959, with time in Japan.
Jack married his wife, Elnora (Ellie) Brunner on November 28, 1982. He resided in Fenton, Holly and Linden, Michigan most of his life.
He retired from ServeAir located on the Selfridge Air Force Base after over 20 years of service. Jack worked for many years during his retirement at Spring Meadows Country Club, keeping the course mowed.
Jack and Ellie owned and trained several harness racing horses. Jack occasionally drove his horses in races, even earning a 1st Place Win, racing their beloved EJ R Lad during a torrential rain at the Gladwin County Fair. Lucky Duck was with Jack and Ellie for 32 years when they adopted him at 4 years old, he eventually retired from racing and lived, as all their animals did, wonderfully spoiled and well loved on their beautiful farm. During his time in the service, Jack played baseball in Japan. He was an excellent golfer, too, with a hole in one on his lifetime scorecard at the Flint Elks Golf Club. There also weren't many back roads in the state of Michigan that Jack didn't know.
Surviving are: his wife of nearly 43 years, Ellie; brother Charles (Annamae) Pasco of Portage, MI; children, Cindy (Darrell) Christopher of Flint, MI, Jerry (Janet) Pasco of Beverly Hills, MI, Brett (Renee) Pasco of Adrian, MI, Lauri (James) Hajec of Fenton, MI, and Mark Jones of Cleveland, OH; 9 grandchildren, Virginia, Amandea, Kymberlea, Richard, Heather, Joshua, Jacob, Brianne and Stephanie; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack had a special bond with his great-grandson, Lincoln James.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
