Jack Leroy Renfro

Jack Leroy Renfro was born on February 21, 1926, to Joseph Walter and Myrtle (Lord) Renfro on the family farm in Big Cabin, Oklahoma. He passed from this life, Wednesday night, February 9, 2022, in Norman, Oklahoma and the age of 95.
After graduating from Big Cabin High School, Jack enlisted in the Army Air Corps and served from1944 to 1946. After being discharged from the Army, Jack worked two years at the Goodrich Plant in Miami, OK.
In 1947, Jak met Bobie Brogden at the First Methodist Church in Big Cabin. They were married on June 5, 1948, residing thereafter in Bartlesville, OK, where he worked for Phillips Petroleum Company in Bartlesville for 37 years in the computing department, retiring in 1985. Together they had three daughters.
Jack was a kind man with a great sense of humor. He always put others needs first. Not only was he a caring husband and father; he was the best grandfather in the world. Jack loved gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Bobie; daughter, Pamela Hudson; grandson, Patrick Engleman; son-in-law, Steve Engleman; sister, Alberta McKay and brothers, Raymond, Harold, Bobby and Billy.
Jack is survived by daughters, Teresa Collins and husband, Mike and Jackie Engleman, both of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Erick Emerson of Durango, CO; Amber Emerson of Bixby, OK; Ryan Engleman and wife, Jennifer of Norman, OK; Hannah Garrett and husband, Cody of Bartlesville, OK; and great-grandchildren, James Ryan (JR) Engleman and Michaiah and Isla Garrett.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 10 a.m. at the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home with interment in Big Cabin Cemetery. Services and interment are under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. To send an online condolence, visit www.honoringmemories.com.
