Jack “Ken” Kenyon Robbins, 69 years of age, husband of Sheila Burnett Robbins, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness Thursday morning, August 29, 2024, in his Cowpens home. Ken was born in Spartanburg on February 16, 1955, to the late Charles Curtis Robbins, Jr., and Bonnie Lou Mullinax Robbins. He was an electrician with Hoechst Celanese for 26 years and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Cowpens. Ken loved bass fishing, driving fast boats, shooting firearms of any kind, and most of all, his family and his church.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Tonya Brewington and Alexis Owens with Emporium Hospice for their support and commitment to his care.

Survivors include his wife and caretaker, who faithfully cared and loved him for 50 years, Sheila of Cowpens; daughter and son-in-law, Miranda and Darrell Williams of Chesnee; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Katlin Robbins of Chesnee; mother, Bonnie Robbins of Cowpens; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Mike Thrift of Boiling Springs; and his grandchildren, Loran and Lahna Williams and Hailey Robbins.

Friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 12:00 noon, at Mountain View Baptist Church, Cowpens. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Pastor Steven Griffith and Pastor Shane Ezell officiating. Burial will be private for the family in the church cemetery.

All arrangements are entrusted into the care and under the direction of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary, 864-461-7788.
