Jack Beaman Robertson

HENDERSON- Jack Beaman Robertson, 91, of Brookhaven Court, died Monday, March 9, 2026 at the Durham V.A. Medical Center. Born September 8, 1934 in Halifax County, he was the son of the late Lottie Jarvis Robertson and Benjamin Robertson. Jack was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church where funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 P.M. by Dr. Donald A. Perkinson. Entombment will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Vivian Grissom Robertson of the home; his son, Joe Don Robertson of Henderson; his daughter-in-law, Jenny Robertson of Henderson; two grandchildren, Adrienne Robertson Pegram (Chris) and Allan Michael Robertson; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Pegram and Josie Pegram.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Allan Robertson; two sisters, Dora Fuller and Christine Tucker; and three brothers, James Robertson, Bill Robertson and Kenneth Robertson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Grissom, Chuck Murray, Allan Michael Robertson, Chris Pegram, Tyler Pegram and Shawn Pegram.

The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 P.M. on Friday at Blessed Hope Baptist Church; at other times they will be at the home.
