In loving memory of Jack

Losing Jack has left a hole in our hearts that words can barely touch. He was extremely smart, with a deep curiosity about the world. He watched countless videos about science, cooking, and how things were made, and carried an incredible amount of knowledge about almost any topic. Whenever someone had a question, he was the first to answer. He loved food and was always excited to try new things, sending the family lists of dishes he had heard about and hoped to taste. Food was one of the few things in life he knew he could truly enjoy.

He loved video games from the time he was a child, though as he grew older, he sadly lost the ability to play the games he loved most. And even though a muscular disease made him weaker day by day, he was the strongest person we will ever know. His resilience and determination to endure every illness and limitation his body placed on him were nothing short of extraordinary.

He loved his family deeply, even if he didn't always show it. In his own ways, he always made sure we knew how much he cared. We loved him, and we will continue to love him and carry his memory with us until time itself stops moving.
