Jack Sims Obituary
Jack M Sims, age 84 of Columbus, OH passed away on August 1, 2025. He was born on July 23, 1941 to the late Ralph and Clara (Lehnert) Sims in Columbus, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Ann Sims, infant son Jason Sims, brother Ray Sims and a sister Dona Sims. Jack is survived by children Jack (Barb) Sims and Kimberly (Rich) Barnhill, grandchild Brittany (Ronnie) Gallion and a sister Lydia (Ed) Thomas.
Over the last 25 years, Jack worked with the Blind Association. Jack and his family enjoyed auto racing for 17 years, he also enjoyed all types of aviation and radio control airplanes. Jack loved his K-9 companion Bo.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm.
