Jack Terrell Obituary

JACK RAY TERRELL Jack Ray Terrell, 83, of Andover, KS, passed away August 25, 2025. He was born December 24, 1941, in Lawton, OK, the son of William Curtis and Hazel M. Terrell. He spent his childhood in Wichita and graduated from Wichita Southeast High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1971. He was a Mail Carrier for the US Post Office in Emporia until his retirement in 1992. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy G. and Norman Terrell. He leaves his wife, Sara Nelson-Terrell, his daughter, Susanne Terrell, and a step-daughter, Tammy Joy Farmer. Graveside services with U.S. Navy Honors will be held 1:30 P.M. Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Graceland Cemetery in Burlington, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Sara Nelson-Terrell in care of Jones Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Burlington, KS 66839.
