Jack Edward Weser

Jack was a kind and humble man born in Buffalo, NY where he met Delphine Tomicki and had four children, Sandra "Za Za" (Walt), Sheryl "Mouse" (Barry), Wayne "Sam" (Sandra) and Stacey "Pooh" (Lewis).
He was educated at ECC and went on to graduate from RIT in Rochester, NY where he moved us in the early 1970's to pursue a career at Xerox. He soon had four grandsons, Matthew (Suzanna), Ryan, Zachary and Ronnie (Kelsie). Thereafter came four great grandchildren, Elle, Anna, Ethan and Raiden and many nieces and nephews. All brought him a great joy!
He was no stranger to sports. He loved them all and played football, baseball, basketball. Jack loved fishing with his son and grandsons throughout his lifetime. He played on the semi-pro "Buffalo's Bills" team for six years and claimed we thought more of that then he did. He coached football, refereed volleyball and marshalled the senior golf tour.
Jack retired early from Xerox and went on to partner with his oldest daughter to work at Zaz's Sports Bar where he continued to make many friends and great memories working with his entire family over eleven years.
He retired once more leaving the family home in Fairport "to follow the summer" and "leave the snow shovels behind." They became snowbirds between Kring Point, NY in the 1000 islands where they had been for sixty years and New Port Richey, FL where he enjoyed many friends, golf, spectacular parades, park walkies and puppies. He was known as "Captain Cookie" to many four-legged friends. He enjoyed feeding everyone his famous fish fry and soups!
It is safe to say his life was full of love and adventure. He never missed an opportunity to share a story, a beer or a hot dog with anyone willing!
Jack passed on at 88 1/2 years old to the day in Hospice care at Chapters Health in New Port Richey, FL where he had the best of care until the end.
May you fly high with the eagles and whistle with the songbirds. You are so loved and will be forever missed "Dada".
A memorial will be planned for next summer.
