Jack T. Wheeler

WHEELER, Jack T., age 88, born to Henry and Bessie (Johnson) Wheeler on February 28, 1929 went home to be with the lord on April 12, 2017. He was born in Dayton, Ohio and went on to attend the University of Cincinnati. He retired from NCR after 25 years as the director of distribution. Jack was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Kettering. He was a longtime member of NCR country club and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Fern (Burris) Wheeler; his parents; brothers, Colonel James Wheeler & Walter Wheeler; sister, Alberta Wheeler. Jack is survived by brother, Wayne (Carleen) Wheeler; nephews, David (Kathy Truett) Miracle & Steven Halloway; nieces, Rita (Doug) Guinn, Mary Marquette, Joyce Darland, many relatives in the Knoxville area, and a very dear friend, Martha Shafer. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00am on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00am. Burial in Dayton Memorial Park.
