Jackie S. Eli, age 77, of
Evansville, Indiana passed away on May 16, 2026, with her family by her side.
Born on September 15 1948, in Litchfield, Jackie lived a life marked by kindness, devotion, and quiet strength. She carried herself with grace and warmth, and those who knew her were blessed by her steady presence and generous spirit. was a woman who valued family above all else, and she found great joy in the simple, meaningful moments shared with the people she loved.
Jackie graduated from Rex Mundi in 1966 and later completed her secretarial degree at Lockyear College in 1967. Her education helped shape the capable and dependable woman she became, and she used her talents in ways that reflected both her intelligence and her willingness to serve others. She was admired for volunteering her time and talents to many local organizations, where her kindness and commitment left a lasting impression on those around her.
One of the most fulfilling roles of Jackie's life was becoming a "Big" Sister and mentor to Christie Christian. That relationship became a treasured part of her life, and she held a special place in Christie's heart and in the hearts of her family. Jackie enjoyed many visits with Christie's boys, Daxton and Ezra, and those moments brought her great happiness. Her caring nature and genuine interest in others made her a source of encouragement and comfort to many.
To Jackie, being a grandmother was never just a title. It was her greatest blessing and the most gratifying chapter of her life. She cherished her grandchildren deeply and took great pride in each of them. Her love for her family was unwavering, and her legacy will live on through the memories they shared, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so freely.
Jackie is survived by her daughters, Amy Pritchett and Danielle Hudak and her husband Todd; her grandchildren, Emma Ellison and her husband Wayne, Steven Pritchett, Kylie Hudak, Evan Hudak, and Trey Hudak; and her siblings, Gloria Rainey and her husband Bill, Janice Grey and her late husband Gerry, Jane Boyles and her husband Keith, Julie Gaisser and her late husband Alan, Jennifer Frank and her husband Gary, Jamie Elsfelder and her husband Bob, Jerilyn Eads and her husband Rob, Hoesli Wolf and his wife Rhonda, Pat Wolf and his wife Vicki, and David Wolf and his wife Lori. She was preceded in death by her father, James Wolf; her mother, Emma Jean Wolf; and her sisters, Nancy Smither and Judy Kilgore.
Jackie will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the many ways she quietly made life better for others. Her life was a beautiful example of faithfulness, generosity, and love, and her memory will remain a treasured blessing to all who knew her.
