Helen Dorothy "Steinsultz" Eli

Helen Dorothy (Steinsultz) Eli, 83, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at her son's home.

Helen was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 14, 1942 to the late Rex and Enola (Smith) Steinsultz. She retired as a PSA (Patient Service Assistant) from Welborn and St. Mary's hospital after many years of service. Helen enjoyed crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and bird watching, especially humming birds. She loved watching the old TV shows like Andy Griffith. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Daisy and her family, especially her grandchildren. Helen will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

Helen is survived by her sons, Randy Eli (Jill Bruce) of Wadesville, IN, and Bob Eli (Angi Boyle) of Owensboro, KY; sister, Marie Hull of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Jessica, Zeke and Katie; and by many nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Levita Madden, Edna Mattingly, June Farmer, Jean Collins and Sonny Steinsultz.

There will be no services at Browning Funeral Home.
