A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Proctor's Mortuary, 3522 Washington Blvd, Beaumont, TX. Viewing will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will be in Live Oak Cemetery Beaumont, TX.
Shirley was born on October 26, 1947, and was a proud graduate of Charlton Pollard High School, class of 1966.
Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved parents Lawrence and Martha Guidry; brother Elliot Guidry; sister Avis Guidry; and son Raphiel D. Boyd.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, James Edward Eli; her sister Mary Guidry Guest (Hillary); sister-in-law Barbara Guidry; sons Charles (Lillie), Orentha (Willetta), Daniel, and Jalen; daughters Tonya, Dianetha (David), Ruby (Warren), Faith, and Danielle. Shirley's legacy continues through her 23 cherished grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and countless others whose lives she touched.
