Jackie was born on March 30, 1946, to Jack Ellis and Velma Spencer in Council Grove, KS. He loved to fish and loved to help friends and neighbors. Jackie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Jackie is survived by his sons; Lester Jr, Ellis of Melrose, NM, Matthew Samuel Ellis (Rosa) of Jal, NM, daughters; Ima May Ellis of Colby, KS, and Coby Jo Cole (Mike) of Trinton, NE, and sister; Violet Splitstone of Cody, WY.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Jack Ellis and Velma Spencer, and sister; Sharon Ann Kreitzen.
