Jackie Girty Obituary
Graveside services will be held at Tom Girty Cemetery on Saturday Nov. 8, 2025 at 10 A.M. A viewing will held at the Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore on Friday Nov. 7, 2025 from 10 A.M. - 8 P.M. The family will greet friends at the event center from 6 P.M.- 8 P.M.
Jackie was born in Hanford, California on March 20th, 1959 to Jack E. Girty and Nelda Sue (Brightwell) Girty, and is the second of five children. He attended Webbers Falls Public school and graduated in 1977.
Jackie was a carpenter by trade and ended up having various jobs throughout his life. Jackie is proceeded in death by his son: David Michael Allen Girty, mother: Nelda Sue (Brightwell) Girty, father: Jack E. Girty, sister: Debbie Bassett, brother-in-law: Gary Cox, nephews: Roy Callison, Shawn Sly, great nephew: Colsen Girty.
He is survived by his three children Tasha and Dustin Rodgers of Union City, Ok. Katie Gifford of Rogers, Al. Braydon Girty of Webbers Falls, Ok, two honorary daughters Taylor Anerton of Athens, Al. Leah Putman of Athens, Al. His five grandchildren Shawna and Zane Everett of Union City, Ok. Erica Rodgers of Union City, Ok. Tiffany Rodgers of Union Cityy, Ok. Kye Sockey of Athens, Al. Liam Sockey of Webbers Falls, Ok. Honorary granddaughter Reagan Anerton of Athens, Al. His great granddaughter Hallee Everett. four siblings, Denise and Keith Devin of Webbers Falls, Ok, Tonya Welch of Webbers Falls, Ok, Lisa Cox of Webbers Falls, Ok, David and Cathy Girty of Webbers Falls,
