Jackie E. "Woody" Hoffman, 77, of McAlisterville, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born on January 27, 1948, in New Bloomfield, Perry County, he is a son of John and Vada (Hockenberry) Hoffman.

He is survived by his companion, Ruthann Benner of McAlisterville; four grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Randy "Skeeter" Hoffman in 2021, his twin brother, Terry Hoffman and another brother, John Hoffman.

Mr. Hoffman honorably and proudly served our country in the US Army from his induction date of February 23, 1968 until his discharge date of September 29, 1969 during the Vietnam War where he obtained the rank of SP4 (T). He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Woody enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, building and working on late models, and loved going to the races at Port Royal Speedway.

All Services and Interment will be private.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville.
