Jack D Studdard, 87, of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at his home on November 10, 2025, surrounded by loved ones and his wife of 67 years, Tommie.

Jack was born September 20, 1938, to Rube and Lora Studdard . When he was a very small child, the family moved from Marlow, Oklahoma to Roswell, New Mexico. In 1958 after graduating from Roswell High School, Jack married the love of his life, Tommie Marley. They moved to Blackwater Ranch west of Roswell, where they raised cattle, sheep, and their three children. In the late 70s, they purchased "the farm" west of Roswell and eventually started Studdard Fiberglass Products. The company built fiberglass tanks, troughs and refurbished existing storages on the ranches throughout New Mexico and West Texas. Jack revolutionized water storage problems for ranchers by refurbishing steel and concrete tanks and troughs on location with fiberglass.

His determination and work ethic was second to none. He never asked anybody to do something that he didn't do himself. He will be remembered for his integrity, hard work, and love of God. Jack led by example and that included serving others. He considered his position as head usher at Grace Community Church as one of his greatest accomplishments.

The true joys of his life were his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren . Always happy to have them tag along for a chat, to teach, or pester and be a role model. He taught many life lessons, and they all loved and cherished him. His impact on individuals he came into contact with and within the ranching industry will be felt for generations.

Jack is survived by his wife Tommie Studdard, his children Jackie Brazille, Don Studdard, Dee Studdard, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rube and Lora Studdard, sister Betty Purcell, and brother Wayne Studdard.

Services will be Friday November 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Grace community church 935 W. Mescalero Rd., Roswell, NM.
