Jacklyn Dennis, a beloved mother and sister, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024, in Albany, Georgia. Born on November 3, 1955, Jacklyn was a vibrant spirit known for her fun-loving personality and infectious energy. Her laughter and warmth touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In her career, Jacklyn dedicated herself to her work, contributing her skills at various establishments, including the Alamo Shirt Factory, later known as Oxford Industries, and Roper, which became American Yard Products. She also served her community as a lunchroom aide at Telfair County Schools, where her commitment to nurturing the next generation was evident.

Jacklyn's legacy is carried on by her loving family. She is survived by her sons, Christopher Meeks of Helena and Jesse Dennis, Jr. and his wife, Hope, of Albany. Her sisters, Peggy Dennis and Marylyn Horne and her husband, Randal, both from Helena, will dearly miss their cherished sister. Jacklyn also took great pride in her grandchildren: Austin Johnson, Cody Meeks, Andrew Dennis, and Tucker Dennis, and she was blessed with one great-grandchild, Lily Johnson.

Though her parents, Arthur Jack Dennis and Mary Alice Davis Dennis, along with her brother, Tony Dennis, have preceded her in death, Jacklyn's spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of her family and friends.

Friends and loved ones can gather to celebrate her life during a visitation on October 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Community Church of God, located at 103 Community Church Rd, McRae-Helena, GA 31037.

Jacklyn Dennis leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and joyful memories that will be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her generous heart and caring nature will always be remembered as a guiding light in the lives she touched.
