Jackson Thomas Bennett, Newburgh IN
Jackson Thomas Bennett, 21, of Newburgh IN passed away unexpectedly, of natural causes in his sleep, on September 24, 2025. He was born on August 23rd, 2004, in Newburgh, IN to his loving parents, Chad Bennett & Juliana “Julie” (Hardesty) Bennett.
Jackson was a 2023 graduate of Reitz Memorial High School and worked for 5 Star Security Systems as an Apprentice Technician. Jackson was a collector. He enjoyed collecting trading cards, shoes and religious items, playing video games, boating and jet skiing on Lake Barkley. Jackson was a spiritual warrior and held a strong Catholic faith. He was compassionate, kind and had a servant's heart. He was eternally loved by every fiber of our beings.
Jackson was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dr. Dale Bennett; his Yia-Yia, Mary Bennett; his grandparents, George Thomas “Tom” Hardesty Jr. and Patricia Anne “Pat” (Dunbar) Hardesty; his uncle, David Hardesty; and his aunt, Sarah (Hardesty) Ward; cousins, Javion Presley, Benjamin Hardesty, Brittany Hardesty.
He is survived by his parents, Juliana and Chad Bennett; brother, Ashton Bennett; Grandma, Dr. Charlotte Bennett; aunts and uncles, Anna (Earl) Matthews, Stephen (Gayle) Hardesty, Daniel (Mary) Hardesty, Kathleen (Frank) Pepe, Todd (Peggy) Hardesty, Rebecca (Jerry) Hofmann, Susan Weber, James (Nancy) Ward, Joseph Hardesty, Nikki Presley; his cousin, Donovan McNeal; and his Best Friend, Jack Onderak, numerous other cousins, and extended family & friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in Jackson’s honor at 10 a.m. on, Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh IN 47630 with visitation beginning at 9 a.m., burial to follow in the church cemetery, a meal will be provided at Ohio Township’s Phoenix Event’s Center, 3433 Libbert Rd. Newburgh IN., 47630, immediately following burial. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to begin at 7:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
