CONWAY, Jackson William Jr. "Jack," 91, of Richmond, entered eternal rest on July 3, 2010. The son of the late Jackson and Daisy Conway, he graduated from Armstrong High School and attended Virginia State University before serving in WW II. He was a retiree of the National Bureau of Standards in Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his sister, Edith; brother, James; and his daughter, Sandra. Mr. Conway leaves to cherish his memory, along with his devoted wife, Mary Bell Conway; children, Bass, Tyrone (Denise), Sheila (William), Celestia, Nadine (Vincent) and Nannette (Donald); 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one devoted niece and two great-nieces. His remains rest at the W.S. Watkins & Son Funeral Home, 2700 North Ave. Funeral services will be conducted at the Richmond Christian Center, 214 Cowardin Avenue, on Friday, July 9, at 2 p.m. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.

To the family of Jack Conway, I met Jack in the bowling alley many years ago and will always remeber him as a good and kind man. I know he's with the Lord, so don't worry about him anymore; He's alright now.
