Mr. Jacky Clearon Glenn, age 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, surrounded by family. He had years of battling with Parkinson's Disease which he faced with the same determination and resolve that had guided him his whole life. He was born November 26, 1933, in Auburndale, Florida to Tommy M. Glenn and Myrtle Inez (Dees) Glenn. Jacky grew up during lean times and started work at a young age picking oranges and strawberries in the groves in Polk County. He graduated from Kathleen High School and went to Massey Business College in Jacksonville, Florida. He enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was assigned to the Central Intelligence Agency during his Army service. Jacky married his first wife Carolyn Freeman in 1955 and had two children, Karen Lavenia and Gary Clearon. During his service with the CIA he lived in Tokyo, Japan; Washington DC; Marana, Arizona and Niceville, Florida. In 1982 Jacky married Blanche Kathryn Foltz and added two grown children, Larry and Lisa as his own. Jacky and Blanche retired from the CIA in 1984 after 31 years of service. Jacky and Blanche retired to Florida together to his hometown of Auburndale. He started investing in Real Estate and rentals, he went to so many seminars to learn all he could. He and Blanche learned the Real Estate game very well acquiring many properties and enjoyed becoming landlords. During his retirement he was able to spend more time with his children and grandchildren. The grandkids all called him Pappy. He loved to tell stories to them and was such a proud grandfather! He and Blanche traveled together all over the world and then throughout the United States. They bought a motor home to travel in to visit family and friends. Some of their favorite trips included visiting Alaska and Canada. Jacky later wrote a memoir and in it he said, "I never dreamed I would be involved in history making world events, especially a country boy from Auburndale, Florida like I grew up". Jacky will be greatly missed but all. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Blanche Kathryn Glenn; sister Shirley Mills and brother-in-law Jimmy Mills. Jacky is survived by his 4 loving children, Karen Lewis of Burke, Virginia, Gary (Sindy) Glenn of Bradenton, Florida, Larry (Gihan) Foltz of Winter Haven, Florida and Lisa (Tony) Schmieg of Auburndale, Florida; 14 grandchildren – Heather Ferguson, Jason (Caitlyn) Lewis, Justin Glenn, Austin (Josette) Glenn, Nathan Foltz, Kristen Foltz, Steven (Jenna) Foltz, Shane (Chris) Howard, Savannah Forquer, Kathryn Schmieg, Molly (Nathan) Poissant, Joel (Hannah) Schmieg, Laura Schmieg and Elijah Schmieg; 15 great grandchildren – Parker, Conner, Ryleigh, Sebastian, Lucas, John, Gabriel, Judah, Micah, Liannah, Luke, Adalynn, Georgia, Cormoran and Junia.
