Jacob Shelton Brown

Jacob Shelton Brown, 42, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2025. He was born on January 26, 1983, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jacob was the kind of man who never met a stranger. If you stood next to him long enough, you were going to get a story, a laugh, and probably a new friend whether you wanted one or not. He loved big-his faith, his family, his country, and especially his girls. Jacob accepted Christ as his Savior in June of 1994, a decision that brings his family much comfort. He attended New Hope Fellowship Church in Springdale. He was a loyal husband to the love of his life, Kimberly Brown, whom he cherished for 20 years. Being a dad was his greatest joy and he was endlessly proud of his daughters, Kennedy (16) and Kambry (9). Jacob had a passion for the Arkansas Razorbacks, loved fishing, golfing, and cooking for the people he loved. He could talk to anyone, about anything, for as long as you'd let him. Conversations were his sport, and connection was his gift.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Brown; daughters Kennedy and Kambry; parents, Mickey and Denise Brown of Humnoke; brother, Adam Averie Brown of Humnoke; nephews, Ross and Rhett; grandmother, Noma Brown; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of wonderful friends that loved him dearly.

Jacob's life was marked by faith, laughter, loyalty, love and a healthy dose of orneriness. He leaves behind a family who will forever feel his presence in every Razorback game, fishing trip, shared meal, and story told a little too long-just the way he liked it.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
