Janetta Faye Day

Janetta Faye Day, 85, of Springdale, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Edgewood Health and Rehab. She was born February 23, 1940, at the family home in Nob Hill, Arkansas, the daughter of Fay and Emma Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Janetta Johnson married Charles Day on February 2, 1974. They celebrated 52 years of marriage together. During this union, they loved to travel in their fifth wheel. Over the years, they went on several journeys and enjoyed many outdoor activities together, which included fishing, planting flowers, and gardening. She was a Christian woman and a seamstress. She worked for 20 years at Baldwin Piano.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Charles Day of the home; stepdaughter, Sherri Planchon; and her son, Shane Logan, both of Springdale.

The funeral service will be at 1:00PM, Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sonora Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM, Monday, till service time. The family would like to thank all the nurses and aides in the memory unit and floor 300 at Edgewood Health and Rehab.
