Jacob Earl Cook, passed away tragically in an accident on October 29, 2025 at the age of 40. He was born on October 27, 1985, in Fort Riley, Kansas, to David & Mona (Gibson) Cook. Jacob was known for his infectious smile and a heart that embraced adventure.

Jacob's life revolved around family, friends, and his passions. He felt a special connection to the open road and loved riding his motorcycle. As a proud member of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Group, he found camaraderie and joy among fellow riders. Family trips to the Upper Peninsula and Tennessee were highlights of his life, filled with laughter, nature, and unforgettable moments. Jacob also enjoyed camping, where he made cherished memories with loved ones. He also loved the Tennessee Titans football team.

Jacob's love story with his wife, Brandy Cook, began in their teenage years when she worked at Subway. Known as the "bad boy," he chased her relentlessly until he won her heart. Brandy embraced his wild side and became his partner in life, sharing dreams and adventures together. They had two beautiful children: a daughter, Mona, and a son, Jacob, who were the lights of his life.

Before finding his calling as a process technician, Jacob worked in various restaurants as a cook and chef, showcasing his culinary talents. He even took culinary classes at Baker College, a passion that never faded. He later built his career at West Michigan Molding, Grand Haven Custom Molding and ultimately at Magna Mirrors, where he was known for his dedication and hard work.

Jacob was also a faithful attendee of Sheridan Drive Baptist Church, finding solace and community in his faith.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Brandy; his daughter, Mona Sue Lynn (Dayton Hilton) Cook; his son, Jacob Cook; his sisters Amanda Cook Martin, Sarah (Thomas) Vanderwall, and Lindsay (Nick) Kinjerski; his brother Adam (Hayleigh) Cook; Father, David (Tami) Cook; his parents-in-law David & Renee' Johnson; his sister-in-law Brittany (Tyler) Sparrowgrove-Laman and brothers-in-law Joshua (Desiree) Johnson and Talor (Elise) Johnson; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful dogs Tank, Kilo, Captain America, Princess Leia and Captain marvel. Jacob was preceded in death by his mother Mona Cook.

A Celebration of Life for Jacob will take place at Clock Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, where friends and family will gather to remember and honor Jacob's vibrant spirit and the love he brought into their lives.
