Jacob Chase Donald, 22, of Spartanburg, SC passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2024. Born on August 31, 2001 in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Keron L. Douglas(Mike) of Arcadia, SC, and Steven R. Donald(D'An) of Laurens, SC.

Chase was a graduate of Dorman High School, class of 2020. Chase was a very loving person with a big smile and sweet soul. He was always the first to lend a helping hand and make new friends. He enjoyed Clemson Football and also played football at Dorman High School. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, making many memories. 

He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Morgan E. Lee, sisters; Gracie Epling, Jada Epling, Kaitlyn Douglas, and Emily Douglas, brothers; Ethan Douglas, and Tyler Epling, Aunts; Keri A. Foster (Bryan) of Easley, SC, and Lisa D. Resotka (Jason) of Greenville, SC, an uncle, Timothy Mark Powell (Valerie) of Easley, SC, cousins; Haleigh A. Foster, Paul Resotka, James Resotka, Kobe Powell, Kirsten Jenkins, Summer Powell, Brandon Powell, Kenleigh Powell, and Karson Powell, Grandparents; Kathy Donald (Mike), Michael Powell (Patricia) and Mark C. Nichols.

Chase was preceded in death by his grandparents; Roger D. Donald, Joan C. Powell, and Donna L. Nichols. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 20th, at 11:30 AM, at the J.M. Dunbar Funeral Home, with a receiving of friends beforehand from 10:30 - 11:15 AM.
