Jacob A. "Jake" Evans was called home to Lord Jesus on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Born May 11th 1977, to Debbie and Gale Evans, Jake to all who knew him was a loving son, brother, friend, and father.
He was married to Candice Marshall from 2004 to 2011 and raised two loving children. He was very dedicated to his children and family, as well as a valuable asset at Spirit AeroSystems for nearly 10 years.
He graduated from Augusta High School and went through schooling to get his CDL license and enjoyed trucking for 5 years. Afterwards he worked a variety of jobs throughout his young adulthood until he started at Spirit AeroSystems. He then went on to start his family with two daughters; Lily and Annabelle. He dedicated most of his life to raising them.
He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and camping. Some of his best memories were spent riding motorcycles with his brothers and cousins; who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Raymond and Mary Evans; Kenneth and Marjorie Bohner.
He is survived by his children: Lillian and her sister Annabelle Evans and his adopted puppy Chewbocca. His parents: Gale and Debra Evans, Brothers: Lucas and his wife Melissa, Zachariah and his wife Taneil. Sister: Kristy Evans, Nieces and Nephews: Maeve and Gabriel, and Titus and Tayla Evans.
His Celebration of Life service will be held on May 29th 2025 at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby, KS at 1pm. His burial will be held at Mulvane Cemetery.
