Forever Our Hero - Our Son, Our Brother, Our Friend
In Loving Memory of Jacob (Jake) Christopher Goran
August 25, 1989 - September 25, 2025
Jacob "Jake" Christopher Goran, age 36, passed away peacefully at his home in Wellington on September 25, 2025.
Born on August 25, 1989, Jake grew up in Wellington, Ohio, and throughout his life also lived in Oberlin and Firestone Park in Akron. He was the beloved son of Jerry and Christine Goran, the cherished brother of Jared and Joshua Goran, and was preceded in death by his beloved Yorkie, Puppy.
Jake was a graduate of Keystone High School and built a successful career as an electrician with Integra Mission Critical. Known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail, Jake took great pride in his craft and in a job done right. His dedication and precision earned the respect of coworkers and clients alike.
A lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers and a passionate football enthusiast, Jake loved the excitement of the game and the sense of community it brought. He was also an avid fan of superhero movies, drawn to stories of courage, loyalty, and strength. He once confided to his mom that he often wished he was a superhero - a reflection of his kind heart and his quiet desire to help and protect others. Above all, Jake treasured the unconditional love and companionship of his beloved Yorkie, Puppy, whose memory remained close to his heart.
Jake shared a close and meaningful friendship with his dear friend Janet, and he will be remembered for his big heart, warm smile, and easygoing nature. We find peace in imagining Jake reunited with Puppy now, in a place of warmth and love.
He will be missed terribly and will forever be in our hearts.
We will endeavor to celebrate his life every day from now on.
