Jacob Wayne Gregory, 26, of Berea, Kentucky passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Richmond, KY and from the moment he arrived; he brought endless joy and love to everyone who knew him. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact Jacob had on our lives will remain forever. He taught us the meaning of unconditional love, strength, and joy in the little things.

Jacob had a love for Marvel movies, with a special admiration for Tony Stark (Iron Man). Because, he was brilliant, witty, and underneath it all-a truly generous soul with a heart that gave until the very end.

Jacob was the cherished son of David & Jeannie Gregory and beloved siblings of Dalton, and Hallie Gregory. Jacob is also survived by his grandmother Doris Proctor, along with this Uncle Kenny (Kathy) Proctor, and many extended family members who deeply cherished him and will continue to carry his memory forward. He was preceded in death by Wayne Proctor, beloved grandfather, and his uncle Eddie. He will forever be remembered for his warm heart, and kindness.

Even in his passing, Jacob became a true Superhero, choosing to give the gift of life through organ donation. Like Tony Stark, who gave everything to save others, Jacob gave selflessly to offer hope and healing. His final act was one of deep love, courage, and sacrifice-a legacy that lives on in those whose lives he touched.

Funeral services for Jacob will be Saturday July 26, 2025 at 11 AM at Lakes Funeral Home, with Pastor Joe Wood officiating. Burial will be in the Rimell Cemetery in Rockcastle County. Pallbearers will be Austin Kersey, Rex Rose, Jonah Smith, Alex Maynard, Lucas Robbins, and Mark Agee. Visitation will be Friday from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home, Berea.
