Jacob Kilby, 35, of Danforth passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born on January 16, 1986 in Kankakee, the son of Pamela Sue (Kuipers) Kilby.
He is survived by his mother, Pamela (Kuipers) Kilby of Danforth; brother, Michael Kilby of Danforth; aunts and uncles, Bev Kuipers of Danforth, Steve and Linda Kuipers of Danforth, Jerry and Karen Kuipers of Danforth, and Linda and Gary Croy of Des Moines, IA; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by two uncles, Danny Kuipers and Mark Seaman; and his sister, Jennifer Kilby.
Jacob graduated from Iroquois West High School and Eureka College, where he was a member of the TKE Fraternity. He enjoyed all sports, and loved the Bulls, White Sox, Packers, and Michigan Wolverines. Jacob had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Knapp-Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman. Rev. Brian King will officiate. Burial will follow at Danforth Cemetery in Danforth.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Knapp-Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman.
Memorials may be made to ASPCA Animal Rescue or Donor's Choice.
