Susan A. Lee, 70, of Gilman passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at her residence. She was born on June 28, 1955 in Watseka, a daughter of Jack L. and Helen Marie (Blanck) Strough. Susan married Thomas E. Lee on June 20, 1986 in Watseka and he preceded her in death on June 1, 2020.
Susan is survived by her son, Eric (Kristie) Lee of Loda; daughter, Krissy (Sam) Rhodes of Onarga; five grandchildren, Peyton, Ella, and Ealyn Rhodes of Onarga, Jami Lee of Loda, Dave (Jennifer) McClain of Paxton; one great-grandchild, Kinsley McClain; two brothers, Bruce Strough of Crescent City and Erwin (Sandy) Strough of Gilman; and one niece, Breanna Strough.
Susan was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Susan was a member of the United Methodist Church in Onarga. She loved feeding the squirrels, watering her plants, and flowers. Susan also cherished her time with family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Onarga Cemetery with Rev. Vicki Killus officiating. A Celebration of Life at Crazy Horse in Gilman will follow the private graveside service beginning at 12:00 p.m. and all are welcome to come celebrate her life.
Memorials may be made to the Onarga United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Arrangements are by the Knapp-Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman.
