Jacob Samuel Smith

Jacob Samuel Smith born July 16, 1993 in Corpus Christi, Texas passed away January 7, 2023 at Harbor Hospice in Portland, Texas. He touched the hearts of so many people that took the time to know him. He was patient, empathic, forgiving, and believed in the good in people. He loved baseball and the Chicago White Sox. His passion was writing lyrics and recording his music but his most cherished moments were his time with his daughter, sister, and his dog. He had a love for the Lord and remained faithful, hopeful, and positive throughout his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Shea Smith; mother, Jill Smith Myrick, and father, H. Alan Augustine; dad, Tom (Karoline) O'Neill; stepfather, Curt Myrick; sister, Emma Myrick; grandparents, Ramon and Stella Smith, and Sandra Smith, Hector, and Ellen Morales, and Tom Sr. and Vickie O'Neill; aunts and uncles, Beth Smith, Matt (Suzy) Smith, Joshua Smith, Yvette Morales, Yvonne (Mark) Morales Garrett, Jannette Morales, Rick(Cristin)O'Neill, Mike (Annette) O'Neill, all his cousins, and his dog Buddy Jack.
Jacob is forever loved and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 from 12:30 P.M.to 1:30 P.M. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes in Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass, Texas.
