Jacob Fields Wade III

Jacob Fields Wade III, 77, of Houston, Texas passed away on November 23, 2015 at his residence. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. Jacob's hobbies included reading, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels as well as gardening. Preceding him in death are his wife, Barbara Wade; his parents, Rosalie and Jacob Fields Wade II; sister, JoAnn Eaves; and grandson, Colton Joshua Wade. Survivors include his son, Christopher Jacob Wade and wife Sherry, and their children, Taylor, Johnathan and Sydni Wade; daughter, LaVonne Kay Wade; brother, William Wade and wife, Joyce; sisters, Sara Wallace and husband, Borden, and Becky Davis and husband, John; brother-in-law, Bob Eaves; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Doris Callender; and extended family and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with burial and military honors following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
