Jacque Knief Obituary
July 29, 1959 - July 28, 2025
Jacque Ann Knief was born July 29, 1959, in Waterloo, daughter of Jerome Frost and Eleanor Bahl. She graduated from West High School, then attended the University of Northern Iowa for a time. Jacque was married to Mark Knief in 1988, he preceded her in death on November 28, 2019. Together, they owned and operated K&W Sausage, until her retirement. Jacque enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, baking and making beautiful crafts. She loved being a mom, grandma, sister and friend. Jacque surely made the world a better place just by being in it and was a friend to everyone she met. She always had a smile on her face and truly tried to spread kindness and joy to everyone she met; her love was fierce and pure.
Jacque passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the age of 65, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home surrounded by family. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson, brother, and three sisters. Jacque is preceded in death by her parents, husband, great-grandson, brother and three sisters.
Memorial Visitation will be held on August 4, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. Memorial service will be held on August 4, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family kindly requests memorials be directed to the Cedar Valley Hospice House or Fight Pancreatic Cancer through the American Cancer Society in her honor.

I always remember what a hard worker Jacque was, working along side Mark in the locker. She was also a very loving daughter in-law to live with and help care for Mark´s mother.
