Jacquelene Ann Edwards, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on October 29, 1961, Jacquelene was a vibrant and passionate individual whose presence brought joy to all who knew her.
Since the age of 18, Jackie dedicated herself to the art of hairdressing, expressing her creativity and care for others through her work. She was known for her warm spirit and welcoming demeanor that made her clients feel like family.
Jackie had a sense of adventure, often seeking solace and happiness in Panama City Beach, where she created countless memories with family and friends. Among her many talents, she was the best quarter machine queen, a skill that added a playful spirit to her already joyful personality. She also had a deep love for animals, especially dogs.
Jackie leaves behind her devoted husband, Chuck Edwards, and her cherished children: daughter and son-in-law, Kelli (Robert) Whire; son and daughter-in-law, Charlie (Caitlin) Edwards; and son Christopher Edwards. She adored her five grandchildren—Gracelynn Ann Edwards, Alexis Whire, Collin Edwards, Angel Whire, Ryan Whire, and Spencer Everritt—who will carry forward her legacy of love and laughter. She is also survived by her father, Walter Elliott, and her brother and sister-in-law, Bo (Abby) Baswell; as well as all of her bonus children.
She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Linda Elliott.
A celebration of life for Mrs. Edwards will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Newton County Animal Shelter at https://www.newtoncountyga.gov/391/Donate-to-Newton-County-Animal-Services.
