Jacqueline Bonebright

Jacqueline "Jacki" Claire (Farrell) Bonebright, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Bronson Commons in Mattawan, Michigan.
Jacki was born on August 17, 1937, in Niles, Michigan, to the late Richard Farrell Sr. and Ethel (Moser) Farrell.
Jacki's life journey encompassed various roles, from being a loving mother, a military wife, embracing the responsibilities as a farmer's wife, secretary, office clerk, independent sales consultant and to opening her own consignment shop called "Lil Angel's Boutique" in Baroda, Michigan.
Jacki will be remembered for her kindness, youthful spirit, contagious laughter and
the warmth she shared with everyone she met.
Hearing her laugh and giggle was truly the best, and her smile brought joy to all who met her.
Jacki found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends, whether it was at the beach, traveling, or simply enjoying music and dancing together. She cherished every moment shared with her loved ones, whether crafting or cheering for her favorite football teams and her beloved Cubs.
Additionally, she found immense joy and comfort with her window birdfeeders, which allowed her to closely observe the birds, especially her beloved Cardinals, right from the comfort of her bedroom.
Jacki was preceded in death by the father of her four children, Bruce Henry Bonebright, her second husband Jack H. Rhodes, fiancé Tom Simpson, and brother Richard Farrell.
She is survived by her loving children, Cheryl "Cherie" Baxter (Rob), Gerald Wayne "Jerry" (Georgia), Michelle Claire Ryan (Tim), Michael Alan and Step-Daughter, Kimberly Bonebright (Jim) Extine, as well as her sister, Jo Ann Farrell. Jacki also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Brandon and Alexander Baxter (Suzanna), Trisha Bonebright, Bradley West, Liam and Katie Ryan, and great-grandchildren Delylah and Landyn Baxter, Eli Bonebright, Nick, Makyah, Serenity West, and Kaden Rankin; Nephew Scott Goodman and Niece Ronna (Dennis) Olheim.
Jacki's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff members at Bronson Commons who lovingly cared for her and became like family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Jacki's honor to the charity of your choice or to the American Lung Association, or an organization who advocates for the elderly and nursing home residents.
A gathering to honor and celebrate Jacki's life will take place later this summer, allowing friends and family to come together and share cherished memories of their beloved Jacki.
