Jacqueline "Jackie" Brassington
A much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Jackie Brassington, 83, of West Harrison, New York, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, at Brightview on New Canaan in Norwalk, Connecticut.
She was born in 1941 in Cumnock, Scotland to her parents Elizabeth Penrose and John Roy. Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles "Eddie", and her four sisters: Elizabeth Jackson Smith, Nancy Leathem, Joan McKentee, and Helen Marshall. She is survived by her two sons, Scott, of Raleigh NC, and William, of Fairfield CT, their wives Joanne and Nathalie, and her seven grandchildren: Sean, Christopher, Corey, Benjamin, Nicholas, Jennifer, and Charles. She was also recently blessed with a great-granddaughter, Charlotte.
Jackie moved to Canada, and eventually New York where she settled down to start a family with Eddie. They shared a loving marriage for 35 years until his sudden passing in 1996. She lived in West Harrison for over 50 years.
Jackie enjoyed her work, with her last job being with Combe Incorporated, a cosmetics company located in White Plains, NY. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and had a passion for traveling the world. She was a strong person who impacted everyone in her life through her positive nature and smile. Jackie will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and love of family.
