Jackie Donohue, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on August 29, 2024, at her home in Broomall after a long illness.
Born on June 15, 1951, the daughter of Katheryn & Mario DeLuca. She grew up in Drexel Hill and attended Saint Bernadette School and graduated from Pendergast High School in 1969.
Jackie was known for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her loving sprit and vibrant presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jackie was the sweetheart, wife, and soulmate to Daniel Donohue. They were married for over 41 years; she captured his heart the moment he met her over 55 years ago. She was an extraordinary mother to her four children (affectionally A, B, C, D) Alisha, Clint (Jeanne), Brienne, and Danielle. She was also the proud grandmother of three grandsons, Jacksen, Clayton, and Judd.
Jackie’s unfailing service to others and to her community included many years as a Girl Scout Leader, Photographer and Writer for Saint Anastasia School, and as an Officer and Committee Women for the Marple Republican Party.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Jackie’s life on Wednesday September 4th at the Donohue Funeral Home in Newtown Square from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
