Jacqueline "Jackie" Figueroa

Jaqueline Figueroa, lovingly known as Jackie, age 60, of Bridgeport, CT passed away peacefully at her residence on August 22, 2025.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico Jackie was the daughter of the late Maria Dolores Viera Vazquez and Francisco Figueroa Alicea. She was raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where she built her life surrounded by family and friends who cherished her deeply.

Jackie dedicated her career to caring for others as a nurse's aide. She had a compassionate heart and a gentle spirit that brought comfort to those in need, reflecting her lifelong commitment to kindness and service.

Jackie was known by many as a social butterfly. She had warmth and light about her that made every room brighter. Always wearing her heart on her sleeve and a smile on her face, Jackie had a gift for making people feel loved, seen, and appreciated.

She was the kind of person whose joy was contagious. Her laugh-oh, her laugh-was unforgettable. It was the kind that came from deep within the soul, pure and full of life. If you were lucky enough to hear it, you couldn't help but smile. More often than not, you'd find yourself laughing along with her.

Jackie loved to swim, to dance, and in her younger years, she proudly marched with a drill team alongside some of her dearest girlfriends. She lived with passion, and she brought that same energy into every stage of her life.

In her later years, she found joy in simple pleasures: watching her favorite TV shows, socializing with neighbors, and spending precious time with her family. But above all, her heart belonged to her beloved husband of 27 years, Ted. Their love was a true partnership-steadfast, nurturing, and full of laughter.

It's hard to sum up a life like Jackie's in just a few words, because she was so many things: loving, caring, expressive, nurturing, fun and simply unforgettable. Jackie didn't just touch lives- she changed them, through her kindness, her spirit, and the love she freely gave.

Jackie is survived by her spouse and her beloved children: Edwin Figueroa, Jaqueline Quinonez, Jose Rodriguez, Maria Figueroa, and Paul Thompson. She is also survived by her siblings: Julio Campos, Miguel campos, Maritza Campos, Awilda Figueroa, and Jeanette DeJesus. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Francisco Figueroa who passed in 2023.
