ALBANY - Jacqueline A. Fischer, 95, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
She was born in the South End of Albany, on August 7, 1930, to the late George Peter and Anna Elizabeth (Mahoney) Fischer.
Jackie worked for the former Williams Press in Menands for 10 years and retired from the NYS Thruway Authority in 1990, after 34 years of service.
Jackie is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the lifelong friend of the late Charlotte Rider. Jackie was predeceased by her beloved sister, Ruth (Francis) Draper; and nephews, Robert (Barbara) Draper and Richard (Kelly) Draper.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in Mater Christi Church, 40 Hopewell St., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with Jackie's family prior to the Mass at Mater Christi Church, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont.
In lieu of of flowers, those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, N.Y. 12204. Online condolences may be offered at danielkeenanfuneralhome.com
