Jacqueline From

LIMA -- Jacqueline A. "Jackie" From, age 90, was called into the presence of the Lord at 5:17 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at The Springs of Lima.

Jackie was born June 26, 1935, in Lima, OH, to the late William Earl Kelly and Gertrude (Rardin) Kelly Huffer. On May 29, 1969, she married Thomas G. From, who preceded her in death on January 22, 1980.

Jackie had attended Lima Senior High School and worked for many years at Lima Surgical Associates under the guidance of Dr. James Slaby. She was a dedicated member of St. Gerard Catholic Church for many years, and she was known as a loving caregiver to many. She loved animals, especially her cats.

She is survived by her daughter, Rena M. and James R. Aleshire of Lima.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, William Michael Joseph; brother, Michael E. Kelly; infant Brother, Roger Kelly; and stepdad, Clarence R. Huffer.

Graveside services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Gethsemani Cemetery, 2001 Spencerville Rd, Lima, OH 45805. Father Kent Kaufman will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Debs Dogs, 1560 Wonderlick Road, Lima, OH 45805 or to the family.
