She also held a special friendship with Helen Sizemore, and will be missed by a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pearl Smith and Leoma Morgan Smith, her loving and devoted husband, Haywood Gilbert, her cherished daughter, Lola Faye Gilbert Johnson, and treasured granddaughter, Kendra Hall. She also mourned the loss of her great-grandson, Ryan Nantz, and her brothers: Golden, Hobert, Dalton, William, Everett, Orie, Thomas, John Jr., and Clarence, as well as her special daughter-in-law, Karen Bray Gilbert.
