Jacqueline Jean "Jackie" Higgins

Jacqueline Jean "Jackie" Higgins of Washington Township passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 27, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Jackie will be remembered for her warm smile, grace, loving heart, toughness and her deep devotion to her family.

Born on December 8,1942, in Manhattan, New York. Jackie was the cherished daughter of the late George and Marion Dickel. She gradated from Kew-Forest School in Forest Hills New York. She married the love of her life Donald Francis Higgins and together they celebrated 34 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1999. After raising her children, Jackie became a very successful real estate agent working for Burgdorff Realtors where she was honored numerous times as a million dollar sales associate. When she retired from real estate Jackie and Don moved to Lake Wylie South Carolina where she was introduced to her "Pearlie Girl" Book Club who became some of her best friends. They are known for their wonderful friendships, book discussions, "girl trips" and helping various volunteer organizations. Jackie enjoyed the many laughs, smiles and memories with this special group of friends. Jackie was an avid reader,loved to travel and spend time with her cherished family and friends.

Jackie is survived by her daughters Janice Higgins and her wife Kimberly Keyes-Milling, Jennifer Higgins and her cherished grandchildren Tanner, Delaney, Katelyn, Andrew and his wife Lindsey and Alexandra.

In addition to her parents Jackie is predeceased in death by her beloved husband Donald Francis Higgins.

Honoring Jackie's wishes, services will be private but there will be a Celebration of her Well Lived Life at a later date.
