Jacqueline Jackson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by MeadowLawn Funeral Home, Crematory and Cemetery on Jan. 10, 2026.
Jacqueline Lanell Jackson, age 55, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Affectionately known as "Jackie" by many, she was a loving and caring woman whose positive outlook on life touched everyone she met.

Jackie attended Sam Houston High School and continued her education in the medical field. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant and home health care provider. With a huge heart and a servant's spirit, she lovingly cared for many family members and friends throughout her life.

A woman of strong faith, Jackie consistently shared words of encouragement to uplift those around her. She was selfless in giving whenever she could and believed deeply in helping others through kindness, compassion, and love. Jackie never left home without wearing one of her tiaras to complement her sparkly personality.

Jackie met and married her best friend, Johnny Jackson, Jr., and together they shared many cherished memories. They enjoyed traveling to Corpus Christi, fishing, trying different restaurants, and attending parties with family and friends. Jackie was always the life of the party-bringing laughter, joy, and warmth wherever she went.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Freddie Mae and Lewis Gene, two sisters and one brother -Linda "Pinky", Peggy and Carl.

Jackie will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Johnny Jackson Jr., her children, Jovan (Florence), Timika, Joshua, Joseph (Martisha), Justin, Lawrence; her grandchildren, J'Quand, Javion, J'Mijae, Mi'Kaiyah, Michael, Mikaylah, Naomi, Nadia, Kearstin, Jeri'Mya, Liya, Jamoney, Ja'kiyah and Ja'novaa; a great-grandson, J'sier. Jackie also leaves her siblings, Ella, Tonett, Bobby, and Lawrence; and many other relatives and close friends

My Sister Jackie,

As I sit here I don't know where to begin countless memories of you being part of our family and knowing that I am typing this note to you it's heartbreaking, I will never forget you. Even through the toughest times with my mother and my brother passing you were right there with encouraging words May your soul now be in peace and rest with God. I have so many videos that even through the years that I would watch and laugh to take me through the hard times to this present day. I love you Jacqueline and always will.

Your sister
